From the founder
I started DEGA because every independent restaurant operator I spoke to was paying for five or six tools to run their kitchen, and none of them talked to each other. POS, payroll, reservations, inventory, taxes, and a notebook. The intelligence you needed to actually run the business lived in your head.
The product I'm building is the one I wish existed when I first walked into a kitchen at 6am and watched the owner reconcile yesterday's sales by hand. I'd rather get this right for one operator than ship fast and get it wrong for ten thousand.
